Our Go Dutch Student Weekender takes place on the last weekend in March every year and costs from as little as £129.00. It is by far the most popular multi institution city break event we organise each year and for obvious reasons! Students are accommodated in luxury 5 and 4 star hotels in the buzzing centre of Rotterdam and enjoy a schedule that includes both daytime fun and educational activities, along with evening entertainment that will appeal to all!

Second only to Amsterdam, Rotterdam is one of the most relaxed and liberal cities in the world. Students will find that our schedule of activities not only include fun and entertainment such as a tour to Amsterdam, which includes visits to the Marijuana museum and Heineken brewery along with 50% discounted admission in to top Rotterdam nightclubs but also educational visits such as the Erasmus University campus and a tour of the Old Pilgrims Church in Delfshaven, where the founders of america, the Pilgrim Fathers said final prayers before setting sail for America.

You should also remember that our annual student events feature all the benefits of our standard events including free places! We'll also supply you with promotional material such as A3 full colour posters, leaflets and reservation packs. In addition not only will students and their friends be able to book tickets directly from their students union but they will also be able to purchase tickets directly from us by credit card. Coupled with the fact that the whole event will be centrally managed by ourselves and students will be able to contact our event coordinators 24 hours a day through our student support package with any questions they may have, it's sure to be a stress free event for all!

go dutch 4 day itinerary

Although we do not impose the below itinerary on any students participating on the event we do find that over the years that our suggested itinerary of activities is very popular amongst most students and generally enjoys a high level of participation.

Day 1:After a warm and friendly introduction from your experienced and knowledgeable driver, your modern luxury executive coach will depart from your chosen departure point late on the evening of day one, for the journey to Holland. The channel crossing will be by either ferry or Le Shuttle and you should arrive at your centrally located 5 & 4 star hotels in Rotterdam early on the morning of day 2.

Day 2:After an early morning check in to their hotel rooms students will be able to spend the rest of the morning at their leisure. In the early afternoon we will depart on an optional excursion to Delfshaven for a brief tour of the Pilgrims Church and a tour of the Erasmus university campus, which includes a brief lecture on the history of the university. Students will also be able to meet resident students of the university whilst on the visit.

After the tour students will be free to do as they please. In the late evening students will have the choice of 50% discounted admission in to any one of Rotterdam's top 3 popular nightclubs, (ensuring that all musical tastes are covered).

Day 3:In the late morning after breakfast on day 3 we have organised a day excursion to Amsterdam, where students will be able to visit many of the attractions Amsterdam is famous for including the Heineken Brewery, Marijuana Museum, Anne Frank House, Redlight District, Van Gogh Museum and the Diamond centre and not forgetting the many cafe's! where more than just tea and coffee can be bought.

For students who have not pre booked our professionally guided special redlight district tour which includes admission in to a live erotic adults only show the coach will return to Rotterdam in the early evening. For students who have pre booked the tour they will be escorted by a professional guide for a tour around the Redlight District, before being taken to see a live adults only erotic show. After which all students will be returned to Rotterdam by coach and again as with all other students they will have the option to spend the night at any one of Rotterdam's top three night clubs (of course with discounted admission).

Day 4:All too soon it's time to return home! After a late breakfast it will be time to check out of your hotel and begin the journey home. On route we will make a stop at the Belgian chocolate factory an excellent way to purchase inexpensive gifts for friends and relatives. We will also make a stop at a hypermarket where you will be able to buy a number of familiar UK brand items at prices typically cheaper than in UK high streets! You should arrive back at your original UK departure points during the late evening of day 4.
