Each year our Prague city breaks are increasingly becoming more popular with student groups as they offer amazing value starting at just £149 for 6 days in excellent accommodation in the centre of historic prague and with favourable exchange rates it's a very inexpensive break for students.

Prague is exquisite. It is steeped in history and romance and a wonderful place to go to the opera. Charles Bridge, the castle, squares and dozens of gothic side streets sometimes give the impression that you are living in a different century. There are plenty of modern pleasures too. There is an emerging lively music scene, and numerous bars and discos, helped by beer that is excellent, cheap and very popular. As well as the magical experience of simply wandering the city, you can enjoy a high standard of classical music in a stunning concert hall for next to nothing. The shops are quite good too..

prague 6 day suggested itinerary

We do not impose a set itinerary for any of our events however we would suggest the below itinerary as a starting point for your academic group. Don't forget that our team of experienced event organisers are always on hand to help tailor any of our events or itineraries to meet your groups requirements, at little or no extra charge.

Day 1:After a warm and friendly introduction from your experienced and knowledgeable driver, your modern luxury executive coach will depart from your chosen departure point late on the afternoon of day one, for the journey to Prague. The channel crossing will be by either ferry or Le Shuttle and you should arrive at your centrally located 3 star hotel in Prague in the mid morning of day 2.

Days 2, 3 & 4:For students taking the time to explore Prague after breakfast each day they will find that There's a bewildering array of entertainment in this eclectic city. Prague is now as much a European centre for jazz, rock and post rock as for classical music. It's a changing scene too. Classical music can be heard at the National Theater, the State Opera, the Estates' Theater and the Rudolfinum, a neo Renaissance concert hall.

An annual highlight is the Prague Spring Festival of classical music (from mid May to June). The Lanterna Magika is a multimedia sound & light show. Jazz and rock can be found at many clubs. Prague also offers a bewildering array of entertainment. Popular culture has diversified considerably in the last few years. Theatre, jazz and rock in particular are enjoying something of a renaissance. Sports fans can also find a magnificent variety of sporting events on offer all year round.

Days 5 & 6:After a late breakfast on day 5 and hotel check out it will be time to commence your journey home. The return journey will be much the same as the outward bound journey and you should arrive back at your original departure location during the early morning of day 6.
