student stressbuster weekend itinerary

Our next annual Student Stressbuster Weekend will take place from Saturday 27th to Sunday 28th may. Each morning after a brief introduction from our friendly and experienced coach driver students will depart from numerous London and Regional locations onboard our comfortable and modern coaches. On route coaches from other locations will meet up in convoy.

Saturday 27th (day 1)

Saturday 28th Depart from departure points in the early morning for a full days fun of paintballing at one of Europe's largest and oldest Paintballing centres. The venue is an old 180 acre World War Two RAF base and is set amongst prime Hampshire woodland, the terrain features “Real” bomb craters, air raid shelters and slit trenches. In addition there are 15 man made uniquely different tactical situations to test students planning, implementation, and coordination skills along with their resourcefulness. The tactical scenarios include bridges, towers, a helicopter, a fuel dump and a complete village setting.

After a brief greeting by one of the centres Marshals and a short presentation on safety and how to use equipment everyone will be kitted out with camouflage overalls with padded hood, goggles, face mask, team armband, paintball gun and 100 rounds of ammunition courtesy of Events2order.

After everyone is kitted up they will be divided in to teams and briefed on the days numerous missions, before being led in to the forest where the games commence!

There will be free light refreshments available all day and at around mid day there will be a cease fire for lunch which comprises of our hosts famous spit roast barbecue, (vegetarian option available). After lunch the fun and games will continue until around 17:00, where there will be an awards and trophies ceremony before departure and return to original departure points.

On return students will have the option of going to anyone of the more than 20 nightclubs listed on their daily itinerary. To qualify for discounted admission they must arrive at the club of their choice before midnight and present their wristband.

Sunday 28th (Day 2)

Alton Towers is the UK's number one theme park and is a firm favourite with all students. In the last 21 years the attraction has grown from little more than a funfair set in 500 acres of historic gardens, into a world renowned theme park with the most innovative mega thrill rides than anywhere else in the UK and this year there's more rides than ever before!

Departure times and locations for Alton Towers will be the same as the previous day and students should arrive at Alton Towers Theme park in the late morning. On arrival at the park students will be admitted straight in to the park as we would of already registered their days attendance ahead of their arrival.

Departure from Alton Towers will be in the early evening and once again students will be able to choose from a number of top nightclubs, where they will be able to gain discounted admission based on the same conditions of the night before.
